Scilab Contest 2008

The competition is sponsored for Chinese students and technicians to improve the ability to study and manage SCILAB, and it can also provide an opportunity and a stage to express your own talent in computer programming. What’s more, it is a competition that exhibits the demeanor of college students in science and technology and enhance the intercommunication and cooperation of own college student with one another. The competition advocates the time spirit of “freedom, share and creation”. This competition campaign is conducted by the technicians from France and China, and the main target of the competition is to improve the communication and cooperation between two countries.
Contest Instruction
(1) Participants can select any subject they are interested in. The software should include the demonstration of the creation, examples, and online help files. The language online help files may be English.
(2) Demonstration of the procedure should program by Scilab, but you may also include other languages, such as C, Fortran, C++, Java.
(3) Toolboxes should be available in Scilab 4.1.2 environment or higher, and you can choose any version of binary system support platform for your toolbox.

Students and their professors (one each) in SCILAB team in INRIA for one week, and students at LIAMA for two months.
Second prize award 10 *1,000 Yuan.
Improved prize award 10 * 500 Yuan.
